Which Label Design Software is Best for you?

Designing labels used to be a challenge, but with software tools like NiceLabel and ZebraDesigner™, label design has never been easier. NiceLabel’s professional label design software works natively with all of Zebra’s barcode printer drivers.

NiceLabel currently offers several varieties of its product, which contains a series of universal label templates. The same template can be used with any printer brand and model.

Label design software makes it easy for companies to generate labels quickly, without having to pay high admin costs.

We’re keen to ensure that you choose the best software for your labelling purposes.  So which one is right for you?

NiceLabel and ZebraDesigner™ are fully compatible, meaning label designs can be created by either programs and opened in both. Extending the power of ZebraDesigner™ Pro, NiceLabel offers the ability to print directly from a printing application rather than just the label design application. The huge advantage to this is that printer users do not have to open the label design program, which helps eliminate human error and incorrect label formats.

The NiceLabel Label Management System (LMS) provides one platform for a standardised labelling process. It includes label designer application builder, document management system, non-production environment, web printing system (for manual printing) and integrated printing system.

ZebraDesigner™ Pro comes with most of the tools businesses need to create complex labels using a variety of data inputs. The software offers RFID features as well as the ability to integrate into a company’s existing product database.

ZebraDesigner™ for XML comes with both the label design software and a host of printer features. The software allows you to quickly arrange all of the elements on labels using a relatively simple and intuitive interface. Printing labels has traditionally been a hassle, but the software allows firms to create tags to a precise specification.

Zebra says that all versions of its software allow companies to print labels on a variety of printers. The product isn’t solely for firms with industrial printers, but midrange desktop and mobile printers too.

Labelman currently provides NiceLabel Pro and Enterprise versions of the software designed for companies using regular and commercial printers. Larger companies will probably want to opt for the full-scale enterprise version of the product while Pro is geared more towards SMEs.
