Sometimes in life we face unexpected business challenges, but it is rare that the challenge is of such enormity as the one we face today. Almost without warning we were faced with business closures, working with social distancing and rapidly declining demand. All of these factors are out of our control. But one thing we can be sure of is that business will return. We don’t know exactly when, but as time goes on, government and business is beginning to plan to rebuild business and the economy. One thing we can control is our ability to be prepared.

We will ultimately return to work albeit we may be working in a different way. Technology will play more of a key role in our processes and protecting our staff and customers will be of paramount importance. So now is the time to start preparing.

As business sectors begin to open, demand will increase. Not only for our goods and services but for the technology and protective equipment that we use. Our challenge as manufacturers, retailers, service providers, logistics organisations, leisure and hospitality companies and ALL businesses will be to ensure that we are prepared when we open our doors.

When the country locked down we saw shortages in all areas, supply chains were either under pressure from a sharp rise in demand for essential goods, or had to reduce their production because of falling demand. In all circumstances we’ve had to adopt different, and in most cases, restrictive working practices. In short, we weren’t prepared.

At Labelman, we have been busy preparing our supply chain so that we can service the requirements of our customers as businesses return to their journey.

In addition to the wide range of Zebra Technologies printing and scanning technologies, which have specifically designed healthcare compliant products and incorporate hands-free and wearable products to aid with distancing, we are ensuring our supply of those all important label products. We are also supplying protective screen equipment to help protect your employees and customers where face to face environments are unavoidable.

We realise, as demand begins to pick up, that shortages will be inevitable while supply chains gear up to increased demand and begin to return to full supply. This is why we believe that being prepared is essential to us getting up and running from day 1.

Please contact us and let us know your requirements, even if you are not ordering straight away, so that we can prepare and plan to supply you when you need it.

Stay safe and be prepared.
