At Labelman Ltd, one of our aims is to find the best possible printing solutions to meet the unique needs of your application. Not only providing you with custom-made solutions for any type of challenging label, but also offering technical expertise and friendly customer service.
We work together with customers, to develop solutions for the trickiest of applications, and hold frequent reviews to expand the offering of new innovations. We have the widest range of materials that cover a vast amount of applications, and an included option of pre-printing the label with your graphics and logo.
You’ll be amazed at the type of applications and printing solutions we’ve had to resolve, whether it’ll be labels for under water or labels for up in the air. Here are a few extra ordinary examples to give you a taste of what we at Labelman Ltd. can do:
Wind Turbines
Earlier in the year, a Health and Safety company looked to us for a labelling solution for an identification label for a wind turbine. The label was needed to identify the wind turbine and give its service information. The label was to be stuck onto a metal or hard plastic, last a duration of at least a year, survive contact with oil and grease and withstand extreme temperatures.
We recommended the Z-Xtreme 4000T White High-Tack, a synthetic thermal transfer label, that is water resistant, and built for extreme indoor and outdoor environments and temperatures, more specifically ranging from -40˚C to 150˚C.

Mother’s Milk
Mother’s Milk is an essential ingredient that supports a baby’s nutrition and development. A customer came to us requiring a custom label that will be compatible and adhesive to bottles containing Mother’s Milk. The process of filling these bottles is strict and time critical, therefore the label is crucial for validation, safe keeping, and dating batches of milk. We were advised that the milk is refrigerated for a few days, before being frozen up to 10 months.
For this customer, we were aware of the importance of label compliance and the validity of these milk bottles. For this enquiry, we believed that Zebra’s 8000T, would be the best solution. It’s a synthetic thermal transfer label suitable for indoor freezing and direct application. Most importantly, it complies with the FDA 175. 105 labelling adhesives.

Cruise Liner Ships
As well as producing labels for wind turbines high in the air, we also generate labels most suitable for water-based equipment. One particular customer required a label that was to be placed on the side of a fleet of cruise liners, that informed of a certain pipe’s serial number, that needed to be seen at all times. The label was to be stuck on smooth metal and survive harsh weather conditions from ice to heat. The label needed to last for a duration of a year, before the part was changed and a new serial number issued.
For this water-based enquiry, we recommended Zebra’s 8000T Z-Endure, an acrylic, thermal transfer label that has superior endurance in extreme environments, and is suggested for applications such as pipes, outdoor tools and lamp posts.

Fruit
During the Halloween season, pumpkins were in great demand, and under certain regulations, all food items have to be label complaint. This meant that many customers required a labelling solution to individually label their pumpkins, specifically for a barcode and date of pick. Majority of their label requirements included being compatible in chilled temperatures, and ensure that once removed, the label didn’t impact the food item.
For these customers, we knew that it was critical to get this correct, due to legal regulations and the number of consumers who would be purchasing this product. For food labels, we recommend Zebra’s 8000T Semi-Gloss Removable, a paper, thermal transfer removeable label, that can endure cold temperatures and most suitable for indoor environments. Additionally, this label also complies with EU Good Regulations and BFR Recommendation XIV for food contact materials.

Shipping Boxes
Warehouse enquiries are a common enquiry here at Labelman Ltd. We assist thousands of warehouses across the country with barcoding and labelling solutions. A certain customer required labels for a variety of different sized shipping boxes, containing a range of items, but mainly office furniture. The labels needed to last up to a week and were needed as a reference for the delivery drivers. After 1 week, the labels are disregarded, and the boxes are then thrown away.
For warehouses and deliveries, we recommend Zebra’s Z-Select 2000D a paper label specifically suggested for warehouse applications. The label is direct thermal and has a permanent rubber-based adhesive. It’s also built to sustain low temperatures, well suited for cold warehouse environments, and delivery vans. Beneficially, Zebra’s Z-Select materials feature a protective topcoat, which provides printing benefits such as excellent print quality and faster print speeds.
